Building a Legacy, Blessing Students

God continues to bless the ministry of KML through the generosity of our KML family!

In this KML Legacy Foundation vlog, we caught up with Dave Murphy, KML Director of Operations and Treasurer of the KML Legacy Foundation Board, to talk about how the KML Legacy Foundation is growing, blessing students and families today while also supporting Christ-centered education for generations to come.

A $4 million milestone

Through God’s blessing and the generosity of our faithful supporters, the KML Legacy Foundation now exceeds $4 million in assets under management. God is good!

The Foundation manages more than 20 endowment funds, many of which provide scholarships and student assistance. Donors can establish an endowment in memory of a loved one, create a family legacy, or support an area of Christian education meaningful to them.

This year, the Foundation approved $184,500 in distributions from its endowments—more than any previous year. That support is helping 48 students from 41 families receive a Christ-centered KML education.

One family shared the impact of this support:

“This assistance allows us to figure out a way to provide our daughter with the opportunity to continue her education through KML, which is where we know she belongs and where we want her to be.”

What a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact these gifts can have!

The Fairway Fund continues to grow

The KML Fairway Fund is another example of how generosity today can continue blessing students for years to come.

This year’s KML Legacy Foundation Charity Golf Outing raised more than $65,000 for the Fairway Fund. In just six years, the fund has grown to more than $400,000—even before this year’s proceeds are added—and distributed $11,000 for student assistance this year.

Thank you to everyone who golfed, sponsored, donated, or volunteered!

Save the date for next year: Monday, June 14, 2027, at West Bend Country Club.
