What interesting times we are experiencing!

I pray that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe as we work through the coronavirus pandemic.

Safety seems to be the top priority for many people, and we are taking that seriously at KML too. In spite of the current health concern, your KML teachers, leaders and staff are still working diligently as we continue fulfilling our mission “to educate, encourage and equip God’s people for life and for eternity.”

I’m also fully aware that many people are concerned about their financial health during these uncertain times. Businesses have closed and incomes are affected. Again, I pray that you are able to manage during these challenging times and will get through this as painlessly as possible.

So, with that being said, what is my message for you?

  • Continue praying for your high school. Your support is provided in many forms (not just financial), and right now your prayers are extremely important.

  • This coronavirus demonstrates the uncertainty we face in our world. This situation reminds me of the importance of KML. We need to assure our students of God’s unwavering love for them regardless of the events that occur in society.

  • If you haven’t updated your will, created Powers of Attorney, or reviewed your beneficiary listings lately, now is a good time to do that since most people have little more time available to accomplish special projects.

I also want to assure you that God continues to be by our side, especially during these challenging times. Our faculty and staff are sharing this confidence with our students, and I gladly share that with you too.

Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”

(John 16:33).

What great words of comfort. Regardless of the events that surround us, we have that solid assurance that Jesus is still our Savior and that His love is never-ending!

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
